About Emil Krack

Emil Krack founded his label in 2018.

As the son of two goldsmiths, he discovered his talent at an early age. When he was a teenager, he took the opportunity to start experimenting in his parents workshop. Emil began training as a silversmith when he was 17. He discovered the art of forming silver sheets with a hammer and developed a keen sense for balanced shapes. He won the school silversmith´s Danner Competition twice in a row.

The prize money enabled Emil to travel to America. He worked on a farm in Washington State, travelled across the country with a friend and stayed in San Francisco for a while. There he financed his stay by working at a local goldsmith's shop.

Back in Germany, Emil started working on his vision of jewelry for men and women.

His travels influence his style which is characterized by contrasts. In one way by the tough America, the time on the farm, the old rusty trucks, the decayed houses and the landscape. In another way, by his parents. The natural handling of gold and gemstones, the high standard of quality and the passion for craftsmanship. He reflects these contrasts in his jewelry. His pieces show these differences while combining a raw look and deeply grained surfaces with the traditional craftsmanship, attention to detail and the metallic shine of precious metal. This is Emil Krack's jewelry.

He attaches importance to sustainability. All his jewelry is handmade in Deidesheim, Germany, using only certified recycled sterling silver and 18-karat gold.
